There is a sense of sickness in mind

How many people need to improve the pain even just to sit in the dentist chair? And how might the Rugby players can continue to follow the match even with a broken arm bones?

Lecturer at the University of Sydney Lorimer Moseley has spent more time to study the problem, and appear with the answers that I too surprising.

In the research project recently, the information is in the most recent edition of Current Biology, Moseley and friends found the body size of members that can affect pain perception about the pain.

Some 10 people with arms that look sick members of their bodies through the broken glass that zoom in or out. If members of the body are too big, patient perceptions about the pain became stronger. When the swelling to decrease in the engineering, the swelling is reduced and patients do not feel too sick. This explains the brain that respond to feedback and act in accordance with it.

So, when you hit the head again, do not look to the mirror and so the size of swelling. Create want to reduce the pain, think there is no swelling at all.
